New Website & Faithlife Transition

Good afternoon!

As Pastor mentioned in church yesterday, we have a few transitions coming up in our digital resources for the RMBC family. Unfortunately, the church management software (ChMS) we have been using (Faithlife) is sunsetting the majority of their features this summer. Thus, we've been working for the last several months to transition all of our resources over to a new ChMS known as Planning Center. It has a long history of providing digital management tools for churches, and we're optimistic about its features for our church. Please read below for some of the details.

Steps for the Transition

1) Website Transition: The new website is now live! Visit rubymountainbible.com to check it out. If you should notice any errors, broken links, etc., please report them to Pastor Daniel - rmbcpastordaniel@gmail.com.

2) Email/Text Communications Transition: For the past few years, all of our mass communications (email & SMS) have been sent using Faithlife. This, however, will be one of the last communications you receive originating from Faithlife. With this in mind, our communications will now be sent using Planning Center. You can prepare for this transition by adding the new email address to your address book and recognizing the new texting number.

• Mass Text Number: When we send text messages to multiple people, they will come from the number 34040.

* If you notice that you are not receiving emails from us, please add the above email address to your address book and check your "Junk" inbox. Please reach out if you have any trouble.

3) Join "Church Center": One of our apps through Planning Center is "Church Center." This is where you'll be able to view our church calendar, signup for events, give online, etc. Much of this you can do without a profile. However, to join and view the church directory, you'll want to join our group. It is a 30 second process using the following link.

We apologize for the inconvenience, knowing we already went through this process the last couple years with Faithlife. We have already expended much effort to ensure the transition goes as smoothly as possible, but getting everyone setup with Planning Center will take some time, and it may have some growing pains.
